Born in Ankara in 1964. She received her undergraduate degree in Architecture at Faculty of Architecture, Mimar Sinan University in 1988 and her graduate degree in Restoration at Middle East Technical University in 2001. Between 1987 and 1990, she was actively involved in the headquarters of Chamber of Architects, responsible for professional activities such as Publication Secretary of Architecture Magazine and the publications the chamber, Architecture Exhibitions and Awards, Symposium on Contemporary Turkish Architecture, and Museum of Architecture. She was the Vice Secretary General of the chamber between 1992 and 95, a period in which ‘Architecture Profession Act’ was on the agenda of the chamber. Between 2000 and 2001, she was member of the Board of Directors and Branch Office Secretary of Chamber of Architects, Ankara Branch. She was involved in the editorial boards of Journal of Architecture and Chamber of Architects, Ankara Branch between 2002 and 2004. She was Ankara Branch Manager of Yapı-Endüstri Center Building between 1990 and 1992. She worked as Secretary General of Vanlı Architecture Foundation and as TSMD Publication Secretary in the period 1996-1998. She was a free-lance publication editor between 1998 and 2002. After 2002, she was involved in architectural works with the TH-İDİL Architecture and Urbanism Inc. team and was responsible for restoration works. Since 2010, she is General Manager of Yapı Argos, based in Uçhisar, Cappadocia, focusing on restoration.
