Following his graduation from the Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Management, he obtained an MA degree in Economics at the Western Michigan University in the USA.
He has 10 years of experience in the Ministry of Finance, where he worked as a Revenue Controller. During his services in the Ministry, he carried out tax audits and investigation of both public and private companies. After having worked for 6 years as an Auditor, Finance Manager and Director of Financial Operations and Audit Department in a major conglomerate in Ankara (Nurol Group), Bayraktaroğlu joined PwC in 2002 as a Senior Tax Manager and admitted to the partnership as of July 2007.
Bayraktaroğlu has broad experience in internal audit, financial advisory, financial management, and financial and administrative audit of both public and private sector. Bayraktaroğlu is a member of Banking and Capital Markets and Real Estate Teams. He is currently providing tax advisory services to many local and foreign banks, brokerage houses, factoring, leasing, portfolio management and consumer finance companies, securities and real estate funds, real estate investment companies and other real estate companies. Ersun is the author of several articles in business dailies and real estate magazines. Also, he is a speaker in several domestic and international panels, discussions and conferences and a lecturer in several seminars on tax issues.
Bayraktaroğlu also contributes to the real estate sector through his Board of Director memberships in major non-governmental organizations like GYODER and GISP.
Bayraktaroglu is currently the PwC Country Leader of Real Estate Sector and the Tax Leader for Bursa, Turkey Office. Bayraktaroğlu is a Sworn Financial Advisor (YMM) and speaks fluent English.
